Artist in residence – art coordinator
Tidemill Academy- 2004 to 2017.
While working at Tidemill I devised and delivered a ‘key skills art curriculum’. Sitting above the national curriculum it is a set of six key skill; drawing for life, clay, how to look at art and artists, taking a line for a walk, print, colour and paint.
I taught this curriculum to pupils across the school and led a number of special projects in partnership with local arts organisations.  I also led CPD for school staff and continue to deliver art units for Teach First students at the school.
